2017 Summer Rowing Opportunities

All Camps take place at the Tampa Bypass Canal Boathouse.


Weekly Sculling Camps

These are designed to be weeklong sessions, and intended to repeat for new campers each week. These are not progressive. Geared towards new rowers, you will learn the basics of rowing, terminology, and beginning sculling. Camps run weekly for 7 weeks* beginning June 5th.

* There are no sculling camps on the week of July 3rd and July 10th. 

Mon- Fri 9:15-11:15 am.

Cost $225 each week.


High Performance Camp

This camp is geared towards any experienced rower in the bay area who is interested in building on their fitness and skills. Camp will end with racing at the Halifax Regatta on July 29th. 

Week 1: Mon- Fri 4:15-6:15

Remainder of Weeks--Beginning Tuesday May 30th-- 7:30-9:30 am.

May 22nd- July 22nd

Cost: $825


FLJR Race Camp

Race camp is also geared towards Tampa Bay experienced rowers.  In this case, a general guideline would be 7:00 or faster 2k time for guys, and 8:00 or faster 2k time for girls. However, all rowers will be considered on a case by case basis.  Athletes in this camp will train M-F 7:30-9:30/ and 10:30-12:00; and Saturdays 7:30-10:30. Races will include USRowing Club Nationals in Ohio, and the Halifax Regatta in Daytona.

Camp runs June 5th- July 17th.
