Asher White - Head Coach of Rowing

Coach White comes to Stewards from White Rock Boathouse in Dallas, TX.  In his 3 years with WRB, Coach White qualified 8 crews for Youth Nationals, captured a regional title, took him a Texas States title, brought home 200+ medals, taught over 250 teens to row and set the stage for a tradition of excellence.  Before his time with White Rock Boathouse, Coach White was the Executive Director and Head Coach of Rowing with commencement Bay Rowing Club.  In his time with CBRC, Coach White worked hard to stabilize and grow the estabilished program returning it to its former strength.

Before Coach White started coaching in 2005, he rowed for Pacific Lutheran University Fall 2002 through Spring 2006, under Meredith Lawver.  While at PLU he rowed in the Varsity Men's Pair, Varsity Men's Four and Varsity Men's Eight.  Coach White served as team captian for two years, brought home the conference title for the Men's Pair and was named all conference.

Tori Hetman - Juniors Assistant Coach

Coach Hetman comes to Stewards from Sarasota Scullers where she learned to row sweep, scull and cox.  The high standards and competive nature she learned while being apart of the Sarasota Scullers 2003 - 2011 brings expereince and excellence that adds to the tradtion that Stewards strives for in its programs.

While part of Sarasota Scullers, Coach Hetman won Florida State Championships in 2008, 2010 and 2011.  She also brought home Southeast Regional Titles in 2008 and 2010.  In 2010, she also finished 3rd at Youth Nationals in the Lightweight Women's Four.  To increase her rowing knowledge base and improve, Coach Hetman participated in the 2010 Southeast Junior Regional Development camp and raced at club nationals in the Women's Junior A Four, Eight, and Intermediate Lightweight Four.
